MOANDAY

Moanday again---that was a typo, but then I thought it might be appropriate, so I left it.

Is it just me, or is it ALWAYS Monday? How can that be? There must be Tuesdays and Wednesdays and other days in there too, but somehow it seems that it is always Monday.

We had a good time yesterday, we drove a total of about seven hours, and saw a really good friend, one that didn't like seeing me in my current condition. Perhaps I should have thought that one through more thoroughly. I ended up near both of my sisters places and tried to see both of them, but neither of them were reachable by phone. So we came home, that was probably best, I was pretty worn out by the time we got back. I will see my family at Thanksgiving anyway.

Blogland is a little quiet recently and I don't just mean Soul and her entourage, folks are just quiet lately. It seems that many are having hard times lately, perhaps it's the time of year, or the weather, or hell, the moon is in the seventh house or some damned thing? We need to perk it up, make it fun again, maybe I should stop my whining and bitching....and get back to fun.

The "most wonderful time of the year" is upon us, or at least, that is what they tell us. It is hard for me to believe that the Christmas season is upon us, but all you have to do is turn on the television, and every other commercial will remind you. To tell you the truth, I have not given it the slightest bit of thought...and I had better. The holidays are a little messed up for my family this year, and I will need to find ways to work around it. So, I had better get busy. :)

I hope that each of you have a great day. I know, I know it is MOANDAY. But, do the best you can. Out.

yeah I agree. we need to make blogland a place to "get away"...where people can relax and forget about their troubles for awhile..don't you think? yeah i finished my "Moanday" and it was definitely so after that weekend trip!

I agree! Blagland needs some spicing up. Most of the hundred or so blogs I read were quiet this weekend. It made me sad. I wanted to read about my friends. I live vicariously through their words.

Seven hours? Whew! I would be tired after that ride as well. Hope your workday goes well. I will be thinking of you. Thanks for the updates. I can always can on you for a morning post!

Fortunately, Monday is my Sunday. And, it seems like every time I turn around it's Saturday again (my Friday). So, still weekend here.

I hope your moan goes away and becomes a Mon. Hope you day at work is better than usual.

Glad to hear you had a good day out Jamie but sorry to hear about MOANDAY.

I have to agree with you about blogland being quiet lately. I have been a bit slack with posting but its not because I'm having any problems. Just been way too busy having fun.

After Friday when my daughters' concert is out of the way, life will go back to normal and I will have more time for my blogging buddies.

Lately, every day HAS seemed like a Moanday. I love this name. Moanday. I just might have to steal it from you.

How are you today?

I always expect to spend more time online on the weekends than I do. I'm glad your day trip was a good one. Best of the Moandays to you too!

Happy Moanday, Jamie. I've made it to lunchtime at the reception desk without too many headaches, hope you're surviving ok there too. Thankfully, there is only one Monday per week!

No, it's not just you; it's always Monday (so it seems in my world too). And yes, you should "get back to fun." ;)

All that and rising gas prices. I think people are just really busy right in general.

I'm trying to buy a house right now myself ans should it become ours, there will be acres of wallpaper and popcorn ceil and the likes to most likely keep me out of blogland for a few weeks. Not to mentinon moving and this is were I embarassingly admit we have six floor to ceiling bookcase overflowing and no, I do not want to get ride of anymore books. sigh. This is what happens when bibliophiles marry eachother.

We also live in earthquake territory. I think I would laugh if I died because our books fell on us.

Just think of all the money we could make, if we could somehow redirect all of Monday's moaning to a 0900 number.
