Can we go home? We're STAYIN'....

I think I could take every other Monday post I have ever written, and copy it here. It's Monday, I don't want to go to work, I don't feel great, blah blah blah. I will spare you all the whining this morning, how would that be? I am starting to realize that I am a broken record----and it's time for a new perspective. A little attitude adjustment, perhaps? Here are a few random thoughts I have had this morning, and then I shall get on with my day. I do have a stirring in my gut---no it's not indigestion, but a serious post forming in my brain, one I am feeling compelled to write. Those are not easy for me, but I cannot rest until I release them. Soon.

Random thoughts this Monday:

It's supposed to rain today, that will be great, it has been so freakin' HOT recently.

My backup in the service department, who is actually my Finance and Insurance person at the garage is on vacation the next three days, so I have to be in the back most of the week. Ugh.

D got back home safely late last night, I was happy to see her. Her kitties were even happier.

I talked with YS yesterday, he and GF had a wonderful time on their float trip, they didn't drown, so I felt better. I told him I need a recent digital photo of the two of them, as I don't have any posted here, and it looks like he is the un-loved bastard child.

I spent my Sunday watching ridiculous television once my eyes couldn't read any more--suffice it to say that I know WAY more about Anna Nicole Smith than I ever intended. And I let CrazyDog out, and I let CrazyDog in, and I let CrazyDog out....

D is filling in for my Finance and Insurance person at the garage for the next two days---I swear that girl knows how to do EVERYTHING.

I am late, and recently that is normal. Hope your Monday is as good as a Monday can be! Out.

hi... glad, once again to hear that your kids are safe! don't they just scare the hell outta ya? have you seen my sises blog recently? her youngest... decided that car racing would be fun... well... a couple days ago... he ROLLED his car THREE times while racing!!!! (how do i find out this little tid bit, about MY nephew?) on her damn blog! no phone call, email, nuthin. talk about bein "the bastard child"..apparently, that would be ME! i still don't know all the details. i do know...thank God, that he is ok...no hospital, or major injuries. i am sooo surprised... this would be the kid who fractured his skull when he was 4 years old...had hernia surgery at like TWO years old...how the HELL does a child THAT young have a hernia???? the guy just doesn't have the best of luck. and, i haven't heard yet...but by the massive amount of tickets etc this boy has had...i'm havin a strong gut feelin, that his car isn't insured.

anyhow, she claims that she will post pics of the rolled car... i'm still waiting to see them. she's , as josie says... a "posting slacker"...God knows when she'll get the pics up.

but, yep... it would sure be nice if i could be informed of such things...especially since I helped raise those boys! good LOrd.
just call me a friggin mushroom...kept in the dark, and shit on!

ok... now, i remember nothing you said in your post. senile much?

ummmm anyways... try not to work too hard. glad your girl is willing and able to help at work...i'm sure that is a big load off of you.

and btw... why do you and your H, seem to look familiar? have either of you lived anywhere other than where you live now...or perhaps have a military history? i think i've seen you before. not so much KNOWN y'all...but y'all do look familiar. or, could it be deja vu? dum dum dum dum.

ok.. i gotta make my rounds real quick... dr appt in a while.
have a good one.

Good Morning Jamie!

I too was glad to hear that your kids were all back safe and sound, mamas sleep much better that way.

Was NOT glad to hear that you will once again be stuck in the damn service department. Is there no one there for who the heat would take less of a toll? Geesh! When that guy comes back from vacation tell 'em you want yours!

LOL at Crazy Dog, I used to have a cat like that. Always wanted to be on the other side of the door... and at the farm you don't put in a pet door - they would bring in too many "surprises"!

Will be eagerly watching for the post that is rumbling around in your belly. I have a few of those too, and always wish I had yet MORE time to blog. I do think I could read and write for 8 hours a day and never get tired of it. Surely there must be a paying "blog commentator" job?! hehe

Praying that your day goes by FAST, and you're back in the cool house before you know it.

Hi Jamie!

Thank you for visiting me! Since I didn't check before coming over I called you "Simon", but now I know your a "Jamie". :>

A post in your brain stirring your gut. Ha,ha, funny imagery. I have two such posts nagging the crap out of me as well.

I've never seen a shaved Chow before. What a funny picture. If you live in a really hot place though, I'm sure he/she appreciates it!

Yake Care!

Soul, my youngest is a dare-devil, too, although we have not gone through anything like that, so far, anyway. Knock on wood. He has scuba dived hundreds of feet under water, jumped from cliffs in Hawaii, I have photos of that one, just so he knew I would have a heart attack....He is always the first one to try anything scary. So far, so good. All appendages still accounted for. I hope your nephew is okay. I told you that I lived in the Dallas area back in 1985, but i don't think you would know me from then--in Garland, actually, right on Lake Ray Hubbard. The biggest freakin' spiders I ever saw in my life... Other than that, I don't know where you might know us from...H was military, but he we air force. How did your dr appt go?

Jos, you sound cheery this morning---I hope your day went great!

Thanks to everyone that stopped by and commented!

I've found a trick to like Mondays! Every single Mondays night, I'm doing something that I love - not only love but could not live without... I take a 5Rhythms dance class from 7.30 to 9.30pm, and I can tell you, that keeps me going all day!!! and I promise, I haven't been enjoying my job for the last 18 months or so!!

if it can help anyone to kill the monday blues...

ccc- CrazyDog really is crazy, she sees things that are not there, she is afraid of any little unexpected noise, we have never been able to run the dishwasher when she is inside, she literally climbs the walls, or tries to. So I wouldn't do anything more to her although it would be a kind of fun---she is so easy to freak out!

Proxima blue, thanks for coming by--yes, she does look really funny shaved...but as crazy as she is, she's a sweetie.

Portia, I wouldn't say my day has FLOWN by, but I am surviving:)

Jyankee, yes, I know you already had your Monday----but no matter when they arrive, they still usually suck.

Clairem---that's a very good idea...I will have to think on that one! Thanks for coming by!

no i wouldn't have known you from here..i was in san diego in 85.

as for air force... the only time i was working close to air force was in the first gulf war overseas...is that possible?

other than that..dunno.

i still have heard nuthing from my sis about my nephew..i am assuming ..and praying..no news is good news.

post the pic of your son in H.

doc appt went well. she gave me samples for more provigil. it takes a couple days...but once it works... it really helps me stay awake !..bad thing...last time she gave me a rx for it, the insurance wouldn't pay for it..and it's close to two hundred bucks a month...so i haven't had it..and have been sleeping every damned afternoon, for hours. so, she gave me the samples and an rx..and said she would try harder to talk the insurance into approving it when they call her about it.
i told her i just can't live like this ...sleeping all the time. still no guarantees. it's a "luxury" med. right. not when it affects your quality of life as much as mine. i would think. huh.?

well..have a good night...and be prepared for the worst song ever! LOL

hey jamie...

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar
That tomorrow
There'll be sun!

Just thinkin' about
Tomorrow
Clears away the cobwebs,
And the sorrow
'Til there's none!

When I'm stuck a day
That's gray,
And lonely,
I just stick out my chin
And Grin,
And Say,
Oh!

The sun'll come out
Tomorrow
So ya gotta hang on
'Til tomorrow
Come what may
Tomorrow! Tomorrow!
I love ya Tomorrow!
You're always
A day
A way!

ROFLMAO!
