Moans and groans

Monday kicked my ass. Hot and sweaty, busy, one car deal after another, holding down the fort in the garage, employees with problems, customers with problems, home at eight thirty, fall on the couch, wake up at midnight...storms--loud ones. ugh. Nothing accomplished in my own original job---if I can remember what the hell my own original job is...behind....behind....behind.

But another day today. Tuesday is usually quieter. and shorter, and like Martha says"it's a good thing".

My legs are dying this morning, some of it self inflicted with my bike, some of it due to the rain...some of it just the joy of being me...

Happiness is solitude. Where oh where can i find it? Out.

Sounds like a day from hell yesterday. Same for me. I am hoping today turns out a little better.

Ahhh - I vote for solitude too Jamie, let's run away to Tahiti or someplace nice like that where they can't find us! :-) I sure hope you get a little peace and quiet today. I know how miserable that "always behind" feeling is. I'm glad it is a "short day" for you, though I know that's a normal long one for the rest of us. I don't know how you do it, but I sure admire you. Have a good one!

i can think of only one place that is sure to offer solitude, and i'm not ready to go there yet...i hope you're not either;)

we got some good storms last night too...it kept our whole house up all night again, but i'm starting to get used to that and the rain was much needed. it stinks to have pains exacerbated by the weather...i hope things chill out a bit for you today.

Damm...I'm very sorry to hear it Jamie, I was hoping it would have been otherwise. If you ever need a hiding place somewhere in Central Europe, let me know.

I love storms at night but hate not being able to sleep after being woken up!

God, it rained like the wrath of God here in Nebraska last night. And it is supposed to do the same tonight. It is this damn humidity. It builds up during the day and has to find a way out somewhere....

And, I'm with the Mamas and the Papas.

"Monday, Monday...can't trust that day."
