TGTS

I got a boat load of work done yesterday-----yea me, although I should have, I had more than TWELVE hours to do it in. No freakin' wonder I am so tired this morning. I am getting old. OLD. Dammit. The stress level there is really off the scale----and that is unusual for my place of employment. Owner decided to sell it this week----not that i blame him-but it has been a bit of a shock for a lot of the employees, nearly all of us are long term, and i guess no one ever really thinks that this sort of thing will happen. I don't know what that means for any of us, but it makes me sad. I have been walking in that door for ten years, and while I could remain there, assuming it sells and that the new owners would want me, it will still be all different. I know that all things must change, and that isn't necessarily bad, but the unknown is always difficult, and no one ever wants it, and it is generally only good in retrospect. So, there you have it....Or there, I don't have it....or some damned thing. Hmmm...

Friday AGAIN. The first day of June. Where has this whole year gone? It's almost half over! Halfway to the Christmas rush. Damn.

I am tired this morning, the long days really take their toll on me, plus CrazyDog was apparently reacting to the full moon last night, I thought I might pull her barker out before it was over. She KNOWS that D's kitties are on the other side of that door, they have been for a couple of weeks now, but she chose LAST night to get pissed. So did I. Not that it helped any, nothing like chasing a spastic and crazy, nearly hairless dog around the house at one am. Damn.

YS woke me this morning before four am, he goes to work that early, and in his defense, I am always up by three thirty, except for the past couple of mornings, and hey----I was just happy to talk to him. Who else can he call on his way to work?

I hope all is great with you all on this First of the month Friday. TGIF. Not that it means anything to me, in the car business, you ALWAYS work on Saturday. TGTS. (Thank God Tomorrow's Saturday?) Nah, that doesn't quite sound right. Out.

How scary to have where you work being sold. We "old girls" don't adapt to changes all that easy. :-) But I'm hoping it turns out to be a blessing in disguise for you, however it works out. My dad was a six-day a week worker too. I think back now and wonder how he did it, and realize why he loved those Sunday afternoon naps so much. I hope someday you'll be able to take life a little easier. Have a good weekend!

The owner selling the place would scare me too. Not that I blame him. The amount of work sounds horrendous. I hope that will go over as smoothly as possible.

When do the new owners take over? Yes, it may be different...but maybe a *better* different. Who knows! It could turn out positive. Or this could be a new opportunity for you. In some way. Maybe a job change. I don't know -- either way, I am sending you positive vibes! And I think Crazy Dog needs his belly rubbed! Soooo cute! A chow chow? Take care...
