Sneaky Friday

All week I have been screwed up on what day it really is. Come to find out --- this is Friday! It sort of sneaked up on me. Beginning the work week with a day off is something I could really get used to.

I have real plans tonight with a friend. I am hoping I can stay awake and on my feet for them. Good hell, it's rough to get old.

Technical issues with the server on the work computer system is preventing me from closing the month of May. I am unable to submit the financial statement to GM...until at least Monday. It is bugging me that I am having to do my work out of the usual order. Perhaps I should work on being a bit more flexible? I hate the idea of being old, unbending and freakin' crusty.  (There's a good word for you).

I spent my week reading, sewing and watching really tacky television. I love the real housewives of everywhere...I'm sorry...I know...I just can't help it. They are so delightfully awful. Seriously. I am addicted.

Janelle and family are moving tomorrow. I am going to be there to help, even though I am seriously limited on what type of help I can be. I plan on putting the babies room together for them. The boys won't be home during the move and I think it would be good if they came home to their room being normal...I think the move will freak them out a bit. Especially since they won't be there for it, they will be with the other grandma, all weekend, most likely. That makes me think of Rodney Dangerfield...his mother used to send him out to play and then move.  Teeheehee

Happy Friday!

A good read, this is short and sweet as I am in the US and access to the net is limited as we're travelling around.
Take care.
Yvonne.

Have a good weekend, Jamie. I know the frustration of not being able to close the books. I have even worked all night to find a dime. Computers only make you get frustrated faster.

Enjoy your evening with the friend and take it easy tomorrow. Would hate to see you pay for it later. My daughter is coming for the weekend. Just her. No babies, no husband. I am looking forward to it.

Blessed be my friend.

I've just been catching up a bit on your last few posts Jamie and I am very sorry to hear the prognosis on your neck and back isn't good. Life really isn't fair sometimes.

I just wanted to stop by and say hi....I'm back ;)
