AHHHH...Memorial Day

A huge, heartfelt thank you to those that serve, and those that have. To you, your families, your friends --- such a huge sacrifice and one that I don't take for granted.

And, a huge I'm sorry for the pity party for one that I posted the other evening. While every bit of it was true, it's really not like me to air my disappointment in my family to the world. The wonderful comments that you all left helped alot, though. So, an "I'm sorry" and a "thank you".

And I am happy to be off work today. I am not feeling as bad a usual, even if only for a few hours so I took advantage and walked early this morning. That always makes me feel better. I will spend the rest of this day off learning about my new Avon venture, and sewing up a huge hole in my youngest son's bestest jeans. By hand. I do not, it should be interesting.

Happy Memorial Day, all. :)

I don't sew either.
Or I try not to.
Have a great day.

I'm glad you had a better day than usual. Not a good one, but not as bad. That's something.

When you're talking to friends, it's not a pity party. It's just saying how you feel. I appreciate your honesty. I'm glad it got worked out.

A short work week for you! That's great. Hope Tuesday brings you something to smile about.

Glad u got to go for your walk and that it helps u so much. I need to start doing that again. I loved it when I did and I let it go by the wayside.

When will you start your shots and when will you have your surgery? Sorry I'm late on that part. But I am glad you are having a good day. The only people you have to thank today is the families of the fallen. The rest of us can be honored and thanked, except me, I did nothing worth being thanked for, on Veterans Day. Rest easy tonight.

Hey girl..just read your last post...I know the feeling...the lack of compassion sometimes hurts worse than the physical pain. I wonder if that is why sometime I feel closer to my blogging friends ..who I have never met...than to my immediate family. A bright spot in our lives for sure...
