What next?

I didn't see this one coming.

My good friend Bill, who is also my ex-employer for any of you wondering who BILL is, collapsed in the bathroom at the race track at the sprint car nationals, and apparently hit his head in the process, and is now in the ICU at the hospital here, with a concussion and blood on his brain...they have yet to determine what happened, what caused him to lose consciousness in the first place, but apparently he did some pretty significant damage on the way down, was life-flighted up here from Knoxville, Iowa. You all know how I feel about him, I have written about him many times, but most recently here. I have not been to see him at the hospital, I was going to go last night but was told by the family that I cannot see him, and that he is in a dark room with orders for quiet---I understand that's because of the pain in his I will try and go today, after my long day at the ICS. Please take a minute and say a quick prayer for him, will you? He was supposed to be moving on Florida. I pray there are no lasting effects from the severe concussion and I hope they get to the bottom of what happened in the first place. Good heavens.

Have a happy Friday.

I hope Bill's recovery is a short one. My father fell a few years ago, having slipped on a rug, and hit his head hard on the fridge. Wound up with a subdural hematoma. He had a complete recovery. I'm so sorry about Bill's fall, especially with all that's going on in his life right now. Please keep us up to date.

How scary - I hope he is ok. Maybe he just got too hot or something.

Of course I'll send up a prayer for him - poor guy.

We never know what the next minute will bring. I hope Bill has a full recovery and is able to enjoy life in his new Florida home. That's what I'm praying for. I also pray that your life will settle into a peaceful rhythm. You're way overdue.

Good thoughts, vibes and prayers for your friend Bill, and hugs for you. I hope he improves soon.

oh man, this is enough already. ENOUGH! I mean I know you enjoy fixing things, but I wish for peaceful times for you from here on out.

I hope the bleeding subsides and eventually after PT and his strong will (which it seems he has from your former posts) he'll be on his way to Florida in no time. Maybe it was just the higher being's way of saying,.."wait until after hurricane season ends."

Sorry to have read about Steph's are right though, he is now with his granddaughter..both are safe and not in any harms/illness way.

I'm g;ad to read in the prior post that they know what caused it. Hopefully the procedures will head off a bigger attack and he's back in health quickly. He'll be in my prayers.
