Happy Thanksgiving

I think that we are a wonderful group of uplifting friends. In case you doubt that, please read what I wrote yesterday, and then read the comments. With a group like us, it is hard to stay down for long. I would like to thank each and every one of you on this Thanksgiving day. Without you, I seriously don't know how I would have made it through this past year. I honestly mean that. I am not one to talk about my troubles to people on the street - I know, you would never know that by the way I write, :) - but I do not like those who drone on and on about their troubles, and their are few in my real life that I can really talk to. Without being able to write it out here, and without ALL of you to listen and care, I really don't know how I would have been able to hold on the little bit of sanity that I hope I have left. So very many of you hold very, very important places in my heart, and I have never seen your face. I worry about many of you each and every day, and pray accordingly. I have made one very special real life friend through blogging and she had made a tremendous difference. Blogging and any friend making community on the Internet now has such a bad reputation, and while I understand the problems and why, those that feel that way have certainly never entered into anything like our little blogging world, or there would be some good publicity. So again, on this day of thanks, I really, REALLY want you all to know, that without ALL of you, I would be one sad, sick woman. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. I love each and every one of you. :)

I wish you all a wonderful, peaceful day of Thanks.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too Jamie. We don't celebrate this holiday in Australia, more's the pity. I couldn't agree more with what you have said here. It certainly is a supportive community and one that I am very thankful to be part of. Every one of the friends I have made have pulled me out of some dark places and I shudder to think where I would be without them, and that includes your lovely self.

You take care Jamie, I worry about you more than you know and you are always in my thoughts.

Happy Thanksgiving to you!
I'm thankful that your feeling better from yesterday.
Thankful for teaching me to be stronger with myself after reading so many of your stories,
I'm thankful to know that in less than 3weeks now for you, you will be having your surgery. I know, I always think thanksgiving is the last week of the month, almostlike "we have another week to go after the holiday today?" So blame it on the hidden week in November,..yeah!! That's the issue. :)
May today find laughter for you!
Always,
crusty!

HAPPY THANKGIVING to you and yours, Jamie! I feel exactly as you do, and I grateful for the many friends that I have made here who encourage and support me every step of the way! Yours is one of the first blogs I read every morning. I know you are up early there and writing away! You have no idea how much you inspire me... "if Jamie can can keep going, so can I"! We will all be joining together to pray you thru the weeks ahead and surgery, I know for certain that you are very special and God loves you very much! I hope your day is filled with good food and family, and not too much time on the feet. It is cold and gray here today, 36 degrees out - geesh, what happened to our lovely New Mexico weather? No matter, we will both count our blessings and ignore the other stuff for today. Love you much and always dear friend!

Happy Thanksgiving, Jamie. And I hope that you let yourself drink yourself silly today.

I just got back from my sister's Thanksgiving dinner and had to drink many drinks in order not to slap my racist pee butt brother in law, so...I have no business trying to type...

Hope it went well for you.

I agree. We are a group of wonderful uplifting friends. I really depend on all the people I've met through my blog, including and especially you. We all need people to support us and that we can 'talk' to. I'm so thankful I entered the blogging world.
