Things---secrets---plans---pics

And enough said about that.

So, January is flying by too, just like all the other months. In this case though, it can't fly by fast enough. I am so very tired of being cooped up in this apartment, and there is nothing else to do with the weather the way it is.

Janelle, Nick and Brodie are in North Carolina, and have been for quite a while. Since they have been gone, Brodie has begun pulling up, and walking around things, holding on. He is only eight months old! He will be walking before I see him again, and I am missing all of it. I guess I'd better get used to it, as it sounds like they are making plans to live there...good heavens, what will I do with out my Brodie? I can't/don't blame them in the least, I just don't know how I am going to make it without my baby. Seriously. And I guess I'd better let you all in on a little secret---Brodie will be having a brother or sister this August. I know, I know....and so does she...but she is happy about it. And so am I. I hope it's a girl this time. :)
I can't help but seriously think about leaving the area myself, if all of my kids are going to be gone. They are the only reason I am here, as I hate the weather here, and it is so interfering with my health and my life. No, I would not go to NC, it's just not my place of choice. I would head back west...to northern Arizona or maybe New Mexico. I know how much some of my friends hate it there, but I really like it there. I love the desert, the desert mountains, the colors there, the peaceful feeling. I just like that part of the country. Jordy is still here, but he does not need me/like me they way the others have, so there is nothing to keep me here at all anymore. I guess I will just have to think about it for awhile....

Saturday morning. My favorite. I have go to get out of this house today...but it's currently MINUS TWELVE out there. I think I will go to the mall and walk awhile...yes, that is a perfect idea.
Happy day. :)

How about Prescott? If I ever sell my house in Phoenix, that's where I'm headed.

Sending you sunshine and love :)

I am also sick of being snowed in this house. I hope you have an easy time deciding what to do. Congrats on the new grand baby !!

Baby, it's cold outside EVERYWHERE!!

Little Brodie is growing and getting cuter everytime I see a pic of him. I certainly understand how you miss him.

I happen to love New Mexico. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea. I love the whole state from the southern border to the mountains in Las Vegas - yes, Las Vegas, New mexico. If I ever leave the south it will be to live in the Land of Enchantment.

LOL, I see you have the Asian hooker ads now too. Boy, they are getting to be a real pain. Each symbol is a different site (if you click on it). I found that out accidentally...ewwwwww.
Boy, I hear ya about moving, I've actually been wanting to move to NC...I have friends near Asheville. You get the change of seasons but its not so damn DRAMATIC like it is here and where you are. Life is short, stay close to your grandchildren. Just a suggestion. And NC is gorgeous!
I've already had enough of winter...I want it to leave....NOW. But January is nearly half over like you said and maybe the winter will go quickly. I'm going to SAVOR spring and summer....every single day of it. Take care, dear friend and God Bless. Hugs, Charlotte xo

Wow, I feel for you on the kids moving away thing. I don't know what I would do without my baby either. And another one coming!! How exciting and sad at the same time if they really are moving. My heart goes out to you. I also have to give you a high five on even thinking of moving so far away yourself. That takes guts lady and you are the one who could pull it off! I envy you that. Congrats on the new baby coming!

How awesome! I too hope she has a lil girl! Very cool, very awesome! And NC is a great Place. it's beautiful, hilly, actually has a beautiful balance of seasons..and greensboro is the place to be (my best friend lives there) tell her that if she's looking for work, American Express travel business dept (call center) is hiring, and wow the time off benefits! (So she could come visit you when she has 2weeks off during Christmas)

Just a ramble.

Happy Weekend!
I couldn't agree with you more on that winter sign.

I knew about Janelle, without being told. Just got hints from her FB profile about being sick. So, no surprise. I had no idea about moving, though. It does seem like it might be a good idea for you to move to a better climate. Why not NC? It really is a wonderful state. You might love it as much as the others you mentioned, and your grands would be there.

It was in the 20's yesterday and we're very wimpy about that. I can't fathom the temps you're getting. So sorry.

Did you get out and walk the mall? Could you do it?

Hugs on a Sunday!

Any kind of change is always so hard...and being away from those grands...ack!

Does the humidity bother you? As I recall NC is really humid, AZ not so much. Good luck with your decision.

Hey there....from a long time lurker... ha ha... winter sucks...but I cant complain...it doesnt snow here and rarely gets below freezing, but I still complain that it's cold. I hope you get to make your move...perhaps nearer your grandkids or to the Southwest.

I've been following your girl on FB. I was wondering why she was in NC. Pretty place it is. Maybe the warmer drier climate in AZ would be better for your health and mine too.
