Yesterday

A completely AWESOME day yesterday. Seriously. The weather was WARM, over seventy f'in degrees (old joke..), and no wind. I walked pre-dawn for too long and am paying for it big time this morning. Well, I am paying for that and for carrying around my most awesomely wonderful grandson, who is getting to be as big as a five year old...he is the happiest, smileyest, laughyest little guy ever. He is six months old and watching him discover new things is a total joy. We spent the day, Janelle and I and Brodie, having lunch, doing a little shopping and then hanging out on my balcony. It was heaven.

And then, he got tired. And so did grandma. It was ultra time for me, nappy time for him.

I have an interview tomorrow afternoon, for a second job, waitressing. I think it would be so much fun, my only worry is that I won't be able to stand up to the physical-ness of it. If I am lucky enough for them to want to hire this old hag, then I am sure going to give it my best shot. I would love to work weekend nights, as I have no life anyway, and certainly need the money, as Santa Claus is a little worried about Christmas this year. Plus, it would just be FUN. I love that kind of work, and they wear jeans and t-shirts and listen to loud country music there. Is that me or what?

Happy Sunday. Spend it doing something you love. I'm out. :)

Brodie is a precious little - or not so little - bundle of joy. His grandmother is so lucky!

Hope your day is pain free and peaceful. Hugs

It is difficult to put them down. They are so cuddly and smell so good. I'm glad you enjoyed your time with him.

Good luck on the job interview. If it's what you want, then go for it.

Blessings for the day.

The worst part of being a waitress is having to stand all day, and walking is very good, it makes the body stronger each day, so keep up the walks and your waitress job should be a breeze along with the tips!!! :-))

My first thought at seeing your picture was how happy you must be. The second was, oh, her back!!! I'm so glad it was a great day for you. That makes me happy.

Waitressing is fun, but very, very hard. I hope you get the job, and give it a try. The worst that can happen is that you can't do it.

It's funny you should mention waitressing. I was driving by a restaurant yesterday that needed waitresses and I thought, I could do that and probably love it. Then I thought about my enemy. THE KNEE.

I love all the pictures of Brodie. He is just so damn cute!

I know this might sound terrible, but I'm glad you decided against going for the interview. I wanted to cry just thinking about you waitressing with your pain.
