Life hasn't been the same since that house fell on my sister...

This has been an exhausting day - and I have made little progress. But, I have made some and under my physical circumstances, that's a miracle. But now, I am finished for the day. I cannot do anymore, and once again all of the responsibility falls onto Mark. And my kids, tomorrow.

I did take a little while today and went and visited Richard in the hospital. He looked surprisingly good, but is still in alot of pain. Holy crap, his incision is huge and it looks really, really bad. His attitude is wonderful and he is quite the trooper, more worried about my mom than himself.

The poor kitties and CrazyDog are all upset and nervous...the kitties really should know the moving drill by now, heaven knows they have moved many times when they belonged to Janelle. CrazyDog however, is not sure what is going on, this is the only place she has ever known. We moved into this house when she was just a puppy, and apartment living is going to be quite an adjustment, for her, and for us. I can see it now, walking her in the middle of the night, that will be quite fun...

I hope you all have had a wonderful day. Have a great weekend. :)

I'm glad to hear your doing some what good. Is walking getting any better ?

Not sure what kinda schedule you've got crazy dog on but here's what worked for us. Jay was able to take two years off when we got bear as a pup. When he had to go back to work we worked him into a schedule of getting up and going potty first thing in the morning. then limited him to one big meal when we got home.(this was a change for his two year old self but he did it after about 4 week) Hopefully crazy pup can learn to go in the morning and then do #2 after dinner when you get home. An mature dog should be able to hold thru the day and over night. Love ya sis - hope things go smoothly this weekend - wish I was there to help.

I wish I could come help you move too.

Apartment living with a dog is interesting, but you'll find a groove - I hope.

Keep resting that back as much as you can.

lovins,

Good luck with the moving Jamie. Poor crazy dog. Animals just know when there is something going on and they get so anxious when they don't know what it is.

Sending my best wishes to Richard and a speedy recovery. I'm proud of you for knowing when enough is enough and resting when you have to.

One foot in front of the other...all you can do now.

I hope to hear that you did nothing but rest tomorrow. Really. You have to depend on others so you can recover. It's what your family would want.

I'm glad you were able to get some done. When we can't move easily, it's hard to give it over to others. You are working so hard.

Poor Crazy Dog. I know my cats have flipped out each time we've moved.

Please take care of yourself. Prayers coming your way!

I wish I could fly over and help too. Which reminds me - I better get that passport renewed. Thinking of you and your family, Jamie...
