Sleepy...

I'm getting lazy in my old age, this morning, I'm up now, and oh-so-tired. I have been sleeping in until nearly seven each day, only being woke up by the phone - one kid or another or both or all, checking in. In the past, by seven am, I have been awake a minimum of three hours, sometimes more. I'm not sure which I like better, I have always enjoyed the quiet time of the beyond early morning, but recently, sleeping feels pretty wonderful.

I'm off to two interviews today, one is with a headhunter, and I think they will have some temporary work that I can do...should I not hear from one of the employers that I do believe will try to hire me this week. I know both of them want me, however the money is the issue. I do not come cheap, and I am well worth what I require. If you have me, you have a committed and dedicated, hard working employee. And that costs money. We will see.

Mark is going with me, I'm wondering if we can keep from killing one another in the car...could be interesting. It isn't really that bad, just tense and quiet. Not my thing. Ugh.

Happy day to each of you...:)

Bring some headphones for the car trip.
My husband is also a "silent " tripper. it's extremely boring.

I am so out of touch with everyone at the moment and have just been catching up on your last 4 posts. Poor crazy dog...she really sounds like she is having a tough time of it which in turn means her family are too.

I'm sorry to hear that things are strained between you and Janelle and also you and Mark. I hope things improve soon. Once you get a job and I'm sure it will be soon, everything else will probably just fall into place. I hope so.

Good luck with the job hunt and I hope it will be over soon.

Good luck! And maybe some temp work is just the thing...gets you working and earning money, testing the waters to see what is out there. And I KNOW you two don't hate each other. It is tense, nerve wracking and ego bruising to not have a job. To worry that you are letting your family down. The male ego is no small thing. Neither is your heart :)

I know what you mean about the money. Stand firm on that. Every employer I've ever interviewed with has their "budget constraints" line and I always think yeah, right...

Good luck to you Sis.

Good Luck! I'm glad to hear you sounding this positively "up." Temp work can be kinda fun, keeping stuff mixed up.

Hey there, hoping the interviews went well. Hopefully if nothing else, you'll have something temporary. I am all for sleeping in! Enjoy it!

God's way of saying, have some rest!
