Nothing will work unless you do. Maya Angelou

Not to much to talk about here in umemploymentville...

My mom is improving. She still has a really long way to go, but she looked and felt alot better when I got to the hospital yesterday. She actually sat up and talked for awhile, and ate a couple of bites of food.

I have been on the computer for what feels like days, looking at job descriptions and submitting resumes. Mark has been on even longer. Surely, something will fall into place.

I don't feel well this morning, can't decide if it's my stomach or my back--or maybe both, I don't want this damned flu that everyone has.

Hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday. :)

I just wanted to check in and see if there was any news about your Mum. I'm so glad to hear that there has been some improvement and I really hope it continues in that vein.

Looking for a job is so difficult but what would have been worse is if you had stayed at the old place. Something will turn up, it always does.

So glad to read that your Mom is a bit better, that's a little relief from all the worry anyway. Keep plugging away at the resumes, the right thing will come for both of you... believe it and it will happen! I sure wish life didn't have to be this hard though. Hope you manage to keep those evil flu bugs at bay.

Just wanted to say hi and tell you I'm thinking about you this morning.

After seeing those recent pics of you guys it's easier to 'picture' you... so I am. Ha!

Good luck with the job search. I'm sending good mojo/juju your way.

Run, don't walk to what ever works as a cure for you. I thought I was just feeling puny yesterday. Got hit with the full on flu at 2:30 this morning. I've Nyquiled my sorry ass up enough to blog. I have my priorities.

can't spell worth crap, but there you go - XO

Good news about your mother. Hope she continues to improve.

Job hunting is the absolute pits. It will pay off in the long run, though. Just remember that looking is better than living in hell at the old job.

Thinking of you and picturing only good things ahead for both you and hubby.

I'm glad your mom is doing a bit better. Hopefully she continues to improve to full health.

Looking for a job is so stressful. My dad used to say that looking for a job is a job in itself and it's true. It carries even more stress then a job. So hey, make sure you take lunch breaks and sick days. :)

Take care.

Glad that your mom is feeling a bit more up..

And hey...I am superstitious. If I felt the flu coming, I would decide that NOW was the time instead of my first day on the new job, so I would probably give myself the flu whether it wanted me or not....

I hope you managed to ward off the flu - your defenses are probably down because of all the stress you've been under. Take care of you.

And I'm saying a little prayer for your mom too.

lovins,
fiwa

Mornin'. Glad to hear your mom is doing better! Hope she continues to improve :)

And Maria is right. Now is the time to allow your body to succumb to the flu, if it really feels the need to. Sucks to have it, but sucks worse to have it, and no sick days!!
