Chickens and Feathers

Because this is the week of Thanksgiving, (well- almost) I just would like to share with all of you how grateful I am that I gave birth to a genius. Okay, so she's not really a genius, well-actually she is, but that's for another time, but thanks to HER, I am now hooked up to my job by computer. I am plugged into their computer system, and that's going to change alot of things for me. Once I have gotten the organization in place, and have what I need here, it will be so easy to do many, many things from home. It will not take the place of going in to the office of course, but it sure will help when I can't, and I won't get SO far behind. So, thank you D, as I could never have managed to get through what tech support called "a piece of cake".

Once again, up too early, because I was asleep too early, I am like a baby, my sleep is all screwed up, throw in a lot of pain, and what you end up with is a mess.

I am eating so much chicken these days, I think I am sprouting feathers.

Being sick is a magical diet. I am not crazy about the method but I'll take it any way I can get it. The pounds came on from medication this year and some how, they are just going away. Maybe I'll be back in my 6's soon, I had about given up on it.

I am hungry for clementine oranges, and this is the time of the year to get them. H said he will find some for me today. Aren't they the best ever? Good heavens, is it my imagination or has this whole post been about food? I think I must be hungry...

Have a good Saturday...Later.

D must have got you hooked up with Go To My PC. Glad you can work at home. That way, if you are not feeling well, you can kick back with the computer and still take your medications. And you can blog about it as well! Me and you are both up reading blogs. I am playing with my computer trying to turn it into a DVR to record TV. SO FUN! I love this stuff! Thinking of you this morning and I hope you have a good weekend!

clementine oranges--- i actually tried one once after i read you say somethin about them---- i didnt see anything spectacular about them...perhaps the wrong time of year??? maybe i shall try another??? i hope H brings you TONS. you MUST EAT!
i think it's the meds making you not want to eat much, and lose weight. i know you think that is good... but you are the health nut--- so take your own advice---AND EAT--- and dont forget breakfast...it IS the most important meal of the day ya know. :))

btw--- maybe if all you are eating is chicken...iron pills may be in order...

I wish just ONE person in this house knew ONE thing about computers. My life would be so much easier.

Are you on a diet? I've lost 6 pounds just recently by eating..get this.. almonds, carrots and raisins for breakfast or actually snacking on them all morning. NOT the fabulous salted and flavored almonds, just right out of the shell.

I hate the side effects of medications.

I have a whole entire bag of those clementines in my fridge. I haven't started eating them yet. Sounds good for today. Glad you are able to get hooked up at home.

I am just delighted that D was able to help you get connected. This will indeed make your life so much easier on the bad days, and help you keep up a little better. I've said it before and I'll say it again - what a blessing the Internet is!

I loved reading about your "diet" and that it's helping with some weight loss. I know those darn medications can be cruel in that sense. Just to have one positive come out of this is good! Clementine oranges, mmmm! Now you will have me out searching for some today! :-)
