That's Amore'

I was siting in the garage yesterday at noon with the detail man, smoking a cigarette....it was the lunch hour, and the parts and service department was technically closed, although I was helping anyone that came in. A new fed-ex driver came in with a box, walked over to me and the other employee and said "do you work here?". I replied "no, we just come here to smoke over the lunch hour". He just stood there looking at me...for several seconds. I let him know i was kidding, it was a joke, you know----ha, ha, ha. He never did think I was funny, although the other employee was choking on his laughter. I know I am a smartass, but give me a break, would it kill ya to smile? It reminded me of the time, way back, when I went to walmart and bought a stand fan. You know the kind---about five feet tall, and it swivels as it blows. Well, I took the thing home, put it together---it was in pieces in a box, plugged it in, no blow. Nothing. I was not about to take it apart, so I picked it up, put it in the car, and went back to walmart. I hoisted the thing over my shoulder with fan blade and cage resting on my shoulder/back. I walked through the door at walmart, and their ever-lovin' greeter said to me..."is that a return? " I replied "no, I carry my fan with me everywhere I go, and when I get hot I plug it in."
He didn't think I was funny, either. But rest assured, I crack myself up. Later.

The only good thing about boring people like that is that u can laugh at them later ;-)

I always wonder what the "song of the day" will be on your posts, Jamie. And like Soul, then I find them running thru my head! :-)

I LOVE someone with a sharp sense of humor, people do ask the dumbest questions, and why not have a little fun with the answers?! Sounds like the Fed-Ex man needed a happy pill. Some folks take themselves too seriously. Keep being yourself, laughter is good medicine!
