Past V'Days

I miss the Valentine's days of the past. When the kids were little, when they got excited over candy and cards. I used to decorate a box for each of them, (a throwback from the days of MY OWN past) and then put in home baked chocolate chip cookies, or sugar cookies, etc. The boxes were generally cigar boxes, and i would use tissue paper and crepe paper and white lace hearts and foil.....I want to go back to those days. A couple of years I made GIANT chocolate chip cookies and decorated them like a cake, with their names, and I love you's. It was fun helping them sign and address their valentines for their school parties. I have no reason for writing this, I just was remembering the past.Later.
