VERY.....FRUSTRATED

Within the span of two little days, both of my computers at home have died. That fat lady didn't even sing -- they just died, with little warning. Just like that. My laptop has a non-repairable power issue, which I could actually fix but to replace the motherboard where it plugs in, just isn't financially worth it. My desktop, which was running right along just fine last night, apparently picked up a virus of some kind - even though I use a good anti-virus software and keep it updated. It will not allow me to get on the internet whatsoever. Now - I have to figure something out, and soon. Me without my puters is like a fish with no water....

So...how is your Tuesday?

I'll catch you all here and there when I can...don't give up on me. My work computer is awesome and I can use it when I am not busy. Lately, I am always busy. So, see you all around!

I'm sorry you're having trouble. I'm beginning to worry about my computers too. They keep disconnecting for no reason.

Oh noooooo. I would really be in a bind if my computer quit working. I do have my granddaughter's laptop as a backup though....just in case. If you can figure out how to get online, I can give you a link to a site that will (or should) kill your virus....its an online scanner. See if you can get online in "safe mode".

Here's the link.... nothing to download, just click on scan for a full system scan for viruses and malware. This is through Panda security.

Good luck. I hope its easily fixed.

That sucks. One time my husband picked up some malware and it locked everything up.
That was horrible.
Hopefully you can get one or both fixed.

I had something similar about getting on the net. I was told that the major culprit is Java Script. The virus comes in on the back of some download, picture or something, starts working in the background changing settings and stuff, then makes itself know. These hackers need to be shot. Good luck, hon.
