Just another manic Monday

Another Monday, almost a new month and amazingly, the end of the year approaches fast. Where on earth does time go these days? I have always heard that the older we get the faster time flies, but have you all noticed that even young people are asking where it's gone? I think that our lives are too full, too jam-packed in general these days and everyone feels that time is passing them by. Anyone agree?

My hell weekend is over and I am not sad about it. I did manage to see all my kiddos that live locally and my two babies for a bit yesterday, other than that, it was me and my bed. Which I love. It's a good thing, eh?

My pain level is still high but I will keep going, until I cannot. This week is not a good one for me to be down for the count, it's the end of the month. So I will somehow manage.

I am adjusting to new medications and they do help. I am looking forward to next weekend when my little sis and family will be here for a couple of days. I cannot wait to see my six year old niece, Carli.

The weekend after that, I am journeying to Colorado to visit with my oldest son and that of course has me excited, too.

Happy Monday. How is that for an oxymoron?

I woke up this morning at the crack of eight thirty and slowely got out of bed till it hit me. I HAD to go pee. That rush over with, I couldn't go back to bed. So I got a cup of coffee and checked the paper; my name wasn't in the obit. Sooo, so far it's been a pretty good day. It is what you make of it in your mind.

Happy hump day. As you said, you always manage. Glad you got to see the local families on the weekend. Sounds like you have some fun stuff coming up. It's great to have something to look forward to. Hope the week has you feeling a little bit better friend :)

Hope the meds continue to help.

I agree that our lives have become so chalk full o stuff that the time flies by and we wonder where it went.

Blog comments are the new email...

I loved, loved your comment on my blog today. It was pointed out to me that your comment was better than my post. I had to agree!!

"Time flies" has indeed taken on a new meaning. Is it just that we're getting older and completely aware of it? Or is it something else?

The world seems to be operating at warp speed. Maybe it's because we as a whole are busier than ever before. Information and technology have taken the reigns and we barely have a moment to breath, let alone be bored. Ang just forget any rose smelling....

Or maybe evolution has taken over and we are hurling into the abyss that will be our end of time? Who knows? Did that sound sinister?

I MAY just say EFF if and end my days in Iowa.... watch out what you suggest.

Love and hugs from my crook of the world.
