Weekend wrap-up

Okay, so I had this whole long post written. And then I hit the backspace key through the whole post. Why? Because I don't desire to hurt anyone. And even though what I had to say was not meant in any way to hurt, I realized that perhaps that could be misunderstood. When one is reading the written word, without the benefit of visual expressions and voice inflections, things can be misconstrued. So....how was your weekend?

Mine has been good. I have accomplished alot but felt pretty poorly. I have tried to spend as much time as possible resting up for what I think will be a crazy week ahead. Beginning with tomorrow at work and lasting through next weekend. My Craig is coming home tomorrow- I cannot wait to see him. It's been more than fourteen weeks, and I can't begin to tell you how much I have missed him. He will be in town all week, although he has lots of family and friends to see, but whatever time I get to be with him will be enjoyed.

Otherwise, since Friday I have: walked some, twice actually---and felt great while doing it. Not so great after, but there is always a price to pay for everything. I cleaned my apartment, did my laundry, wrapped a few Christmas gifts, went to lunch with my daughter and wonderful grandson, colored my hair, went out for a few drinks on Friday night, spent nearly four hours with my best buddy Bill, and spent two awesome hours with Tonka, the new kitten, mostly laughing at him. It's been a great weekend.

You had a great weekend. I haven't done anything...except read blogs and my book. I hate it when I do that...I always feel like I've wasted so much time. There's that nasty word again. Time! I really do need to quit beating myself up and just enjoy WHATEVER I'm doing. Yeah...that sounds like a winner to me. Hope your week starts out good ...its a short one anyway. I'm handling the whole office alone for 3 days...my co-worker has gone to see her family. Here's hoping I don't eff everything up. LOLOLOLOLOL

It sounds like you had a good time. I love playing with new kittens. They are so much fun and they entertain so easily.

I've written a whole post and before and deleted it. All for different reasons.

I did get my 'grandma' time today and am pretty happy about that. We played lots of games today.

Hope you have just as lovely a week as weekend my dear.

Blessings

I am glad you had a good time. Sounds relaxing.

I'm happy Craig is coming home. Has it really been that long?? Sheesh. Enjoy your visit!

Keep walking. It'll help eventually. :)

Hugs!

Wonderful to hear from you, as always. So glad you had happy things to say. Did you keep what you deleted from your post? Sometimes the process of writing it and getting it out of you is the best medicine.

Hope you get through your work week just fine. The reward will be the time off afterward. Happy Monday.

Writing is a great therapy. Seeing your thoughts on paper can sometimes make it easier to see more clearly.

It's wonderful to have a soft little package called a grandchild to cuddle and love. They are precious.

Jamie, enjoy the holidays and know I wish you happiness and joy.

Until later, my friend, warm hugz.

Sounds like a great weekend to me! A lot better than mine which seemed to involve driving the kids everywhere and then feeling ill on Sunday.

Glad you ahd fun!
