So, I get to work yesterday morning, it's still dark. In the shadows as I am pulling in the drive, I see a little tiny puffball running and jumping and trying to look into the windows of the dealership. Dammit, a kitten. Dammit. "God, PLEASE move that kitten out of here before I get out of the car, please."
No such luck. I get out and in the dark I can still see it.
"Here kitty kitty" I called, really pretty timidly. The sweet little thing turns around and sees me and starts to run towards me as fast as it's little legs will let him. He climbed right up my pants leg (and I have the claw marks to prove it), meowing all the way. I took him inside with me, and a co-worker hurried to the store to buy kitty food. He was starved, but in surprisingly good shape. He looked up at me with such love and gratitude, I knew I was screwed. He stayed with me in the office all morning, until I came home. Guess who has a new kitten?
