AMOK

I need to post this morning, if for no other reason than to get all these thoughts in one place. However, getting them all corralled is a bit of a problem. They are running amok. Oh how I love that phrase, it makes me giggle. Once I found a greeting card, for father's day. It was a picture of a cartoon dog staring at his foot, with hearts coming out of his mind. On the inside - "Oh how I love my PAW!" teehee...get it? For fathers day? See...I cannot corral these things.

It is the first of the month A-G-A-I-N. How can that be? And not only that, it's April fools day. Hmmm.....

And because it is the beginning of the new month, it is actually the end of the month at my work and that means BUSY. I have much to accomplish this week, but I honestly think I am in pretty good shape. I wish I could tell you all how the job is going, but I can't gauge. I hear no feedback other than from the women in my office, and they don't know anything. I know one thing, there are way too many chiefs there, and not enough indians.

I am still in pain, and have left another message with the dr's office. I am beginning to wonder if the pneumonia that he had has killed him, because that is the only excuse I can think of that makes it okay to ignore me.

Both of my sisters are dealing with some kind of medical problem, and you all know that I am, too. What is happening to my family? Seems we are falling apart since my mom is gone, in more ways than one.

Happy Humpday friends. Hope you aren't April fool-ed. Or, if you are, that it's a good one. I'm out. :)

You're always such an early poster. I like that I can open up Reader and find you here.

You'd think your doctor would have someone covering for him. Could you go to the ER if necessary? Explain the situation and why you need meds? I can see where it wouldn't work, but I'm brainstorming.

Busy=job=money. Hope you have a more than tolerable day. Hugs!

God I hate it when doctors ignore you. Thankfully I've never had it happen to me.....YET. But my daughter has. To be fair, the one specialist had a heart attack and she did forgive him because of that but this other one....she called for an appointment because she's sick with bronchitis and was told HE HAD MOVED. Now thats pretty inconsiderate. Don't even tell your patients you've moved!!! And she loved this doctor too. So they fit her in with his replacement and she is thinking she's going to stick with this new one...she really liked him a lot and so did her son...who also has bronchitis. She had one doctor, whom she also really loved, send her a certified letter stating that she could no longer be her doctor. The reason? All the forms the government was having her fill out in TRIPLICATE every time she saw her and then half the time she had to do them again because they claimed they never got them. This was when my daughter was injured on the job working for the post office. That doctor simply did not have all that extra time to devote to just one patient. Pretty sad, huh. (I don't blame the doctor on that one either)
I hope things smooth out for you and you feel better soon...One bright point..warm weather is coming and soon snow will be a distant memory...and maybe our pain will diminish. LOLOLOL (Well...it COULD happen!!!) Big hugs and much love, dear friend. Charlotte

"Amok" is a wonderful word. No only does it invoke a smile but it also paints a definate picture. As a matter of fact, if these tanks don't aren't soon delivered so I can get my house in order I may run "amok" myself. Now there's a picture that should give you a chuckle.

Pain is they absolute worst company to keep. It wears out it's welcome quckly and doesn't know when enough is enough. Hope the doctor calls today.

You have the most fabulous sense of humor:) No matter what is going on with you (or me) you just have a tendency to bring out a smile.
It is really infuriating for a doctor to leave someone hanging. Ugh. At least it's not Monday. I hope you get lots done at work and Miss 1Chief2Many butts her way out of it.
My best to both sisters...and to The Janelle too:)
