Just a little...

Today is the day that I go back to Des Moines and visit the King--the Knight of Neurosurgeons, the Prince of Physicians. Yes, today is the day that I see my doc for the post-op visit. Finally. I am so hoping that he tells me that the brace can be kicked to the curb, but I feel pretty certain the WON'T be the case. I feel pretty good these days, and I think I am coming along just fine. He may tell me I need physical therapy, and that will be okay, I will do whatever he wants me to do. But if I have to try and sleep with that damned brace much longer, I may lose it. There is no possible way to get comfortable with it on. I end up sleeping sitting up, and I am getting tired of that. Keep your fingers crossed for me kids, because the lack of sleep in making me a little bitchy. Really, only just a little. Have a good day---what day is this? Wednesday, why--it's Wednesday! Have a good humpday! Out.

yes, it is wednesday. i too have lost track of time and space. good lord. it gets hard to keep track of anything when the whole worlds schedule changes for two or three weeks. isn't it?
anyhow.. i hope your drive, and visit to the doc goes well, and with little stress. as if that's possible right. if you are like me.. you are all worked up before you even see his face. hopefully you have a good day regardless.

hopefully you can catch a nap in the car on the drive and become less bitchy-- maybe a little. :))

keep us posted how it goes.

laterz.

Crossing my fingers that you can ditch the brace. So happy you can walk into the doc's office not roll in. Waiting to hear the news.

Oh! I hope you get the brace off as well! I am sure not getting a comfortable night's sleep adds to the pain every day. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Hey, Soul sent me over. I understand we're both sporting the ever so fashionable neck traps, aka cervical collars! It is impossible to get comfy isn't it? I'm wearing the Miami J collar. Had anterior cervical fusion of C67 on Dec 26. Had the would check today. One week down. 5-7 more weeks of the flipping collar! It's the worst part of the surgery!
I hope you're doing well!
