Weekend wrap-up

And now, here's TUESDAY....

that feels like Monday to me, because I didn't work yesterday. That is a bonus..beginning the week with my most favorite day.

My weekend was completely awesome. TOTALLY. It was spent doing as we please, when we please. It wore me all the way out, but it was oh-so-worth it. I got to see my grandkiddos twice even...and I spent a boatload of money on everyone. It felt wonderful. And, do you know, all that time, all those opportunities, and I didn't take even one picture! WTH? Not one. Our stepdad came up and had lunch with us on Saturday, no pics. Us girls - Trav, myself, Janelle-all had VIP pedicures before, no pics. Dinners out, dinners in...shopping and walking. No pics. Geez...I always take pics, I cannot figure out what happened there. I didn't once think about getting the camera. It bums me out. But I will have the memories in my head, I suppose.

My grandsons are completely wonderful. The youngest, Zach, tracks in to everything you say to him, and rewards you with the biggest grin on earth. I love that baby. My older grandson Brodie, just putzes around and plays and is happy all the time. I spent alot of time with him, he thinks I am a total nutjob, and I suppose he's right. He laughs so easily, and minds very well. Janelle is doing a terrific job of teaching them.

I spent most of yesterday cleaning the place up, working out at the gym and doing a little grocery shopping. Then, I slept. The whole afternoon and evening away. And then I went to bed..good heavens Grandma. But I guess I needed it.

Back to the salt mines today. I'm ready, I have missed it. Happy Tuesday. :)

It's so good to hear you had a wonderful time. Such a wonderful time you didn't think of picking up the camera!! I think that sez something about where your head was during the weekend. In the moment!! Good for you.

Enjoy the remainder of your week.

Blessings

Sounds like a great weekend. I spent mine with the grandkids, too. Plus a friend of my gd came with her. It was fun. Walked along the Little River and let them walk all over the place.
