Monday's just won't let it go, will they? Here it is again...

My weekend was very wonderful and way busy. I feel it in every bone and muscle in my body this morning. But I am upright and sucking air, so it's all good.

You know, in the pic of me and Brodie in the previous post, the capri jeans that I was wearing were the sole reason why I joined the gym and started swimming, got back to walking and back on a decent diet. And there I am wearing them like I could do that any old day of the week. They fit, and they fit loose. It's funny what brings about change in us. I have lost sixteen pounds and gained so much strength in my lower body..but I must say, the arms leave alot to be desired. It seems I cannot even open a medicine bottle or a bottle of beer these days without struggle, so that will have to be my next goal. But that will have to wait awhile, as today they are so sore I could cry. Since Friday, I have walked more than six miles, swam I don't know how far, but twice, cleaned and mopped my whole apartment floor...holy crap what a huge job...vacuumed my entire upstairs, and done other various and sundry difficult things. Things that I could not do several weeks ago. And I like it. I pay for each and every thing I do with pain and problems, but I keep trying. What else is there?

Happy Monday, friends. :)

I had to go back and read up to catch up. I miss reading these musings daily.

Brodie in the fountain....I wish we had the warmth to enjoy playing in a fountain.

Making yourself count. We train others in how to treat us. If we matter to ourselves we matter to others.

The pain you were in earlier in the is good to see you are back at it. It sounds like you are not giving up and giving back as good as you get. Good for you!

I hope you are well, healthy, and happy....keep up the good fight!!

I noticed right away how slim you looked in those capris. I thought you were always that size. See, you were right in what you wrote.

I thought of you in pain when I saw you holding Brodie. You just keep on going, pain or not. Just be careful, OK?

Happy Tuesday :)
